Also speaking to the podcast this week is journalist and General Secretary of the Free Speech Union, Toby Young. Toby reflected on the downfall of Boris Johnson’s premiership, and said he was “disappointed” the former Prime Minister wasn’t able to overcome his shortcomings. “I was always sort of aware of Boris’s character flaws and in particular his inability to really focus on the task in hand. He’s always been easily distracted, always got too many things on the go, juggling too many balls,” he said. “I really did think that he would rise to the occasion and he didn’t.”
