Join us in The Board Room, upstairs at The Cosy Club, Bennetts Hill, for an informal meet-up of FSU members and others concerned about freedom of speech. We’ll be there from 7pm.
Our speakers for the evening are Peter D’Lima and Claire McGuiggan of Not the Easy Way, a psychologist-led project promoting free speech for young people. From 7.40pm until 8.30pm, they will introduce their work and discuss how we can encourage more people, young and old, to engage in difficult conversations on contentious issues, with people from differing viewpoints. Followed by an informal social until 10pm.
It’s an excellent opportunity to introduce your friends, family and colleagues to the work of the Free Speech Union. Non-members can find more information about what we do here.
